Intake & Receiving

All returned merchandise is received at our Shelby, NC distribution center. Each inbound shipment is verified against packing slips, scanned into our inventory management system, and staged for processing. Testing & Grading

Every item undergoes functional testing and condition assessment using our standardized five-tier grading system. Electronics are powered on and tested for core functionality. Appliances are inspected for mechanical operation. All items receive cosmetic evaluation for scratches, dents, and packaging condition. This rigorous process ensures accurate condition grades and honest product descriptions.

Manifest Creation

Our team creates detailed, item-level manifests for every lot. Manifests include product names, brands, model numbers, UPC codes, condition grades, quantities, and estimated retail values when available from the retailer. Accurate manifests are the foundation of trust in the liquidation industry, and we take manifest quality seriously.

Repackaging & Labeling

Items that require repackaging are cleaned, re-wrapped, and placed in new packaging or poly bags as appropriate. All products are labeled with condition grades, lot numbers, and tracking information. Proper packaging protects merchandise during storage and transit, preserving the value we worked to assess.

Lot Creation

Processed items are grouped into sellable lots — pallets, truckloads, and cases — based on category, condition, and value tier. Our lot building process is designed to create balanced, desirable lots that give buyers confidence in their purchase. We offer standard mixed lots as well as category-specific and condition-specific lots for buyers with targeted needs.

  • Pallets: 40-60+ items per pallet, mixed or category-specific
  • Truckloads: 24-26 pallets per load, fully manifested
  • Cases: smaller lots for entry-level and niche buyers
  • Custom lot configurations available for wholesale accounts

Quality Assurance

Before any lot is listed for sale, it goes through a final quality assurance check. A QA team member verifies manifest accuracy against physical contents, confirms condition grades on a random sample of items, and inspects packaging integrity. This last step ensures that what the buyer sees on the manifest is what they receive in the shipment.

LN
Like New

Product is in original packaging, unopened or opened but unused. All accessories and documentation are present. No cosmetic defects. Item is indistinguishable from new retail stock.

VG
Very Good

Product has been opened and may show minimal signs of use. Fully functional with all core accessories. Minor cosmetic imperfections such as light scratches or scuffs that do not affect functionality.

G
Good

Product is fully functional but shows moderate signs of use. May have visible scratches, dents, or scuffs. Some non-essential accessories may be missing. Original packaging may not be available.

PO
Poor

Product may have functional issues or significant cosmetic damage. Suitable for parts, repair, or refurbishment. May be missing key accessories. Not recommended for direct resale without restoration.

SA
Salvage

Product is non-functional, heavily damaged, or incomplete. Suitable for parts harvesting, material recycling, or component recovery. Not intended for retail resale.
